I’m always happy to see Doctor Who getting nominated for things, but that’s fairly expected at this point. THEY NOMINATED COMMUNITY! THAT IS SO COOL
The Doctor’s Wife deserves to win. But still THAT IS SO COOL.
Basically, so far as I can make out - Chevy Chase and Dan Harmon are feuding. I’m not sure of the order here, but Chevy refused to film a particular scene for the end of the season, and Harmon shouted him down in front of the whole cast/crew + his wife and kids, Chevy left an angry/rude voicemail which Harmon promptly played for everyone to hear and eventually leak to the internet, and now everyone’s mad.
Ugh.
So, assuming everybody’s a jerk here and nobody is at fault, I still agree with Gawker. (that is the only time you will hear that sentence, probably)
Just get rid of Chevy Chase. There is a serious bad vibe that he creates and the other cast members are handling it the best they can but it’s really obvious that he makes everyone else uncomfortable and is probably a giant jerk. He has a looooooong history of this kind of thing. Especially the female cast members seem really, really uncomfortable with him and that is not cool.
Besides, Community would be better off without Pierce. His character doesn’t work anymore and the show is better when he’s not around, and I’m pretty sure everybody knows it.
Dump him.
